Fortunately, during my two-day stay, the weather was clear, allowing for unobstructed views of the mountain. The room, ideally sized for a couple, featured a wardrobe for storing our luggage. The pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the room maintained a cozy warmth, thanks to the air conditioners and bed warmers.

Habitacion NIIYA Mt Fuji se găsește în Fujikawaguchiko, la aproximativ 1,1 km de Lacul Kawaguchi și la 4,4 km de Fujikyu Highland. The owner is absolutely gorgeous & so helpful! He went out his way to offer us a lift to the station once for our Fuji climb and once for our train to Kyoto, he printed out the bus instructions for us, He let us in slightly early after our climb for check in too! We loved how authentic and cosy it was - additionally he let us leave our bags with him whilst we slept overnight on the mountain. Views of Fuji from our balcony too! Aircon works lovely & he offered a free drink to everyone per night in the fridge. He goes out of his way which was just spectacular. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I absolutely adored the style and decor of the house. It felt very special to be able to see how traditional meets modern, real life in this part of Japan. The family was so lovely and the whole area was just magical!

Featuring a shared lounge, Hana Hostel Fujisan is set in Yoshida. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and buying tickets for guests. Warm welcome by the host who gave a little tour of the hostel. Nice common area, clean facilities and free breakfast/snacks. They make you feel very welcome, as a female solo traveller I felt instantly at ease after a long travel day.

Renovated in September 2018, Guesthouseほのぼの offers an accommodation with free WiFi in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.3 km from Lake Kawaguchi. The host was incredible, and the hostel itself was very comfortable.

Open from July 2017, Guesthouse Murabito is nestled just a 2-minute stroll away from Lake Yamanaka. Heartwarming welcome and the best location on the lake. The tatami room for 4 pax was spacious and our family had fun relaxing together in the evenings. The communal spaces are super clean. Hosts are the friendliest and offer great suggestions on where to go, what to do. Felt like home :)
