We spent a glorious day of relaxation here, and could easily have spent more. The guest house is a fantastic and comfortable space that has been cleverly designed, and the hosts are so kind and generous and eager to help. It is inspiring to see their entrepreneurial spirit and ecological mindset (the house was renovated with second hand materials, for example). The whole experience was magical and we wished we had more time. There is so much to discover in Wakayama, and this could be a good base. Hope we can come back someday.

The host was extremely kind and even helped us set up a projector to watch a movie! One of the most unique stays we’ve experienced in Japan so far! There’s also an incredible restaurant nearby called 食堂 あお where the owner speak English and we got to taste the best fish we’ve ever had! Overall highly recommend!!
