Guesthouse Ise Futami, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Ise, 8.6 km from Ise Grand Shrine, 8.2 km from Oharai-machi, as well as 1.9 km from Futamiokitama Shrine. This is the most comfortable guest house with the most amenities that I have experienced. I really appreciate the large bathrooms. I am a bicyclist and this guest house puts an emphasis on bicycling, which is fantastic. They even have a small herb garden if you decide to make dinner at the house.

Located in Shima, B&B Forest Shima features accommodation with a garden with a children's playground. Everything, there was a lovely warm atmosphere and the facilities were great. Breakfast was delicious too.

Set in Kumano, ATASHIKA FRUITS FARM Kumano kodo Beach front Private house is a recently renovated accommodation, 11 km from Ubuta Shrine and 30 km from Kumano Hayatama Taisha. Atashika is a gem - a beautiful beach cove surrounded by mountains, peaceful, hardly a soul on the beach, especially at the end of the day. We spent a glorious day of relaxation here, and could easily have spent more. The guest house is a fantastic and comfortable space that has been cleverly designed, and the hosts are so kind and generous and eager to help. It is inspiring to see their entrepreneurial spirit and ecological mindset (the house was renovated with second hand materials, for example). The whole experience was magical and we wished we had more time. There is so much to discover in Wakayama, and this could be a good base. Hope we can come back someday.

Situated just 12 km from Ceramic Art Place by Kenji Azuma, Kamenarien features accommodation in Ema with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Amazing experience in the Japanese countryside ! Host are very kind and very helpful, the Japanese breakfast was fresh and delicious. If you like nature and want to try the countryside way of living, you will love it.

Situated in Kumano in the Mie region, with Odomari Beach nearby, Kumano - House / Vacation STAY 9764 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. It was amazing. A lovely little traditional Japanese house with a small garden. Very close to the sea. We were greeted by romantic night lighting

This was a truly memorable and awesome stay for us in Kumano. We were kindly welcomed in a house filled with figurines, games and toys from the early 2000s. The host was extremely kind and even helped us set up a projector to watch a movie! One of the most unique stays we’ve experienced in Japan so far! There’s also an incredible restaurant nearby called 食堂 あお where the owner speak English and we got to taste the best fish we’ve ever had! Overall highly recommend!!

THY GUEST HOUSE, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Ise, 5.7 km from Ise Grand Shrine, 3.4 km from Oharai-machi, as well as less than 1 km from Ise Shrine Geku. Really good location!! facilities are all clean, organized, providing private space enough. I definitely come back as I visit around there :)

Located in Yokkaichi, 16 km from Suzuka Circuit, Guest House Salt Beach provides accommodation with a bar, free WiFi, a shared kitchen, and a shared lounge. A very typical house, so probably not everyone likes it, but it's totally my type. It's 5 minutes walking from the station, so also convenient. A house lord speaks English which is rare in the country, is super kind, taking care of guests and helps with everything. We had only one stay in on our way to Ise, but definitely will back there! Very recomended. Oh! And there's karaoke bar with great alcohol !!!

If you want a real Japanese experience,this is your place. A mixture between traditional Japanese houses and old days life. it's literally beside a shrine. The crew was incredibly nice. Ideal to disconnect from the world and live some days of peace and quiet
