The staff was very kind, the facilites are in excellent conditions, the breakfast was delicious, we definitely recommend to stay here in your Iceland adventure! From all the hotels we stayed in our trip, this was our favorite! We had dinner here and the slow cooked lamb was amazing! And in this spot we saw the best Northern lights! This place will have a place in our heart!

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Perfect spot to visit the spots around the Lake, close to the supermarket, clean, welcoming and comfortable room. The manager allowed me to check in way earlier because the room was free, so it was very nice. Amazing auroras directly from the guesthouse !

Pereettevõttena tegutsev külalistemaja asub vaikses kohas, 5 km kaugusel Islandi ringteest ja 13 km kaugusel Lake Mývatnist. Külalistemajast avaneb vaade Sandfelli mäele. Lovely staff, really good food at the restaurant and over all a very nice place, would absolutely stay there again! :D

Set on Lake Myvatn’s northern shore, this property is 5 minutes’ drive from Myvatn Nature Baths. On-site facilities include a communal kitchen, small convenience store and bicycle rental. Great place to hunt for northern lights. Cosy room, although very small. Super hot radiators, which in winter saved our life :). Although the breakfast is in the village, there was a common room opposite our building where there were tables and all necessary kitchen facilities to prepare your own meal or something hot to drink. Very well equipped. We came late at night, the reception was closed, but the room key was left for us plus directions to the room. Breakfast in the village restaurant very nice. The place is right behind the post office (google maps show you a route round the whole village, don't know why).

Kohapeal on terrass, tasuta WiFi-ühendus, tasuta eraparkla ja elektriautode laadimisjaam. it’s a camping but ! one of the best places I have stayed in Iceland extremely clean absolutely calm perfect location you can get an incredible breakfast in a nearest farm guest that’s twice more expensive to stay but you can go there for food definitely recommended

Offering rooms and cottages, Hlid Hostel is 500 metres from Lake Mývatn, in Reykjahlíd. WiFi and parking are free. Facilities include a BBQ area, terrace and shared kitchen. The lady was incredible the hostal was on renovation só she went to pick me up and put me on a guesthouse with even more consitions, on a room alone. She was very helpfull and the place amazing. ,
