Very nice and cosy room for a family of 3. The cows were a big hit with our toddler, petting and feeding them. The resort has a great restaurant and the cows are milked right next to you at the other side of a glass wall during dinner and breakfast.

Το Birkilauf βρίσκεται στο Myvatn, σε απόσταση 2,6χλμ. από τα ιαματικά λουτρά Myvatn και προσφέρει πολλές ανέσεις, όπως θέα στη λίμνη και το βουνό. We had a great stay in Birkilauf. Our room was very spacious and had its own bathroom as well as an private entrace to the huge terrace. The common area has a living / dining room and probably the best kitchen we have seen in a guesthouse so far. You can probably cook (or bake) everything here - also the equipment was quite modern. You will also find eggs, milk, joghurt, cheese, butter, jam, cereals ... as well as tea and coffee to create your own breakfast. The terrace also offers a bbq. Our host was extremly friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Also he made home-made bread and cakes for everybody to share. The location is a little bit (but easy to reach and find) and we had the chance to see the northern lights from the terrace.

Το cottage ήταν πανέμορφο, πεντακάθαρο και προσφέρει οτιδήποτε μπορεί να χρειαστείς. Μας ενθουσίασε η θέα και το τζακούζι. Μοναδική εμπειρία. Σίγουρα το προτείνω.
