From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the host, and their hospitality set the tone for a fantastic stay. What truly stood out was that, at the time of our visit, we were the only guests, granting us the entire house to ourselves. However, even if we had shared the space with others, it wouldn't have been an issue at all, given the spaciousness of the property. The house itself is incredibly roomy, boasting two generously sized bathrooms and a total of four bedrooms. The bed we slept in was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. But what truly left us in awe was the interior design. Everything within the guesthouse appeared to be brand new, and the decor was not only welcoming but also exquisitely beautiful. We found ourselves inspired by the interior design and have even taken some ideas back home with us for our own living space. In summary, our stay at this guesthouse was a remarkable experience. The warm reception, spacious accommodations, and stunning interior design all contributed to an unforgettable visit. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch guesthouse experience.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Hallormsstaður, Mjóanes accommodation is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake. Great scenary, very confortable place and easy to reach for the city. The kitchen was fully equiped and we also got home made bread with butter & jam for breakfast. The sauna & hot hub were amazing. Elsa provided loads of details about the stay and not only. Preaceful & quiet, just perfect.

Unlike many other hotels hosted in a house, this really felt like it was designed with the idea of a real hotel in mind. The rooms were nice decorated. Even rooms without a separate bathroom had their own sinks which helped A LOT.
