Breakfast is simpl, as they have it, but if you know that this is home stay and not hotel, si perfect. They also adopt to your wishes for breakfast. Buildings in Kolkata have problems with humidty and this can be seen in the room, but you also see that they try to solve it. I was travelling solo and I felt very safe in the room and on the street...it is lighter street.

Our host Ms. Deepika with her friendly talk made us feel at home. Food was delicious. We were asked about dinner even before we had reached Darjeeling. They prepared vegetarian food separately at our request. Would definitely recommend it to my friends seeking to explore Darjeeling - Ms. Binita

Laxmi Niwas, Salt Lake, Kolkata, 10mins from Sector 5 ligger i Kolkata, 7,8 km från Dumdum tunnelbanestation, och erbjuder utsikt över staden. The great hospitality provided by the owner. Up side is it is very near to Kalighat Temple , Transporation and metro are also were near if someone wants to explore it. Locality is silent and Peaceful.
