Binu and George and their family are the perfect hosts. They were SO KIND and even helped me receive a package at their house that I needed whilst travelling. They also arranged a taxi for us to the airport, and a boat to take us for the morning around the backwaters. The room was very clean and comfortable with great AC. The location was perfect for us - within 10 minutes walk there was the bus station, restaurants, the boat jetty, and temples. We explored the beach one evening and realised that’s where most of the foreign travellers are… made us even more glad about our choice! Wifi worked well for streaming movies, but we didn’t try working remotely. Communication in English was fine too I would 100% stay here again. Great value and overall experience.

We needed logistical help arriving and departing, and the owners personally helped with their local knowledge. We are grateful to our hosts and have already booked another stay!

Wonderful lake front location with a super friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for the team, who leave you space to relax whilst always being ready to help in any way. Prabhath Joseph went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our time here. He organised a fantastic punting trip to the Munroes (and Rajesh the auto rickshaw driver made the journey there just as much fun). Prabhath Joseph also took us to the local temple festival which was unforgettable. And when we had to leave he helped us find the right bus/rickshaw etc.
