Situated just 700 metres from Fort Kochi Beach, SeaCoast Inn FortKochi offers accommodation in Fort Kochi with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as full-day security. The location is ideal! I walked from the Inn to all the major tourist sites in Fort Kochi as well as loads of restaurants and cafes. I was traveling as a solo female and felt entirely safe at this property and its surroundings. The host, Shaan, was beyond helpful and available to assist before, during, and after my stay. Wifi was strong enough to stream tv shows. Breakfasts were excellent and prepared with variety daily. Rooms were clean, cool (great a/c!), and bug free.

Featuring mountain views, Le Farmhouse Munnar offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 15 km from Munnar Tea Museum. We really loved our stay at Le Farmhouse in Munnar. The owner, Gabriel, made our stay extremely comfortable, making us delicious breakfasts, drinks and organizing all of our tours and transport for us. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The homestay is situated in a quiet area of the town, surrounded by beautiful nature, but still only 60 rupees into town in a tucktuck We hope to stay again sometime!

Although we spent time with the family, we also had the privacy of our own room. The balance was just right. We enjoyed our trip with Silvie into the tea plantations. My husband loved cooking with Silvie and learning the technique for paratha hands-on. We had all our food at the homestay and it was delicious, local and varied. The homestay is in a perfect location - in the middle of tea and spice plantations but still within walking distance to the bus stop. The view across the valley and at the misty mountains is amazing.

Beautiful situation right on the beach. Very peaceful. Room was very comfortable and tasteful. Om helped us with booking a houseboat which was gorgeous and with booking transport to Kochin. Lovely rooftop for breakfast. Loved the fruit and fruit juice.

Top location and sooo nice and helpful Roney gave us many cool tips where to see the best sunrise, tea factory visit, restaurants etc. Clean rooms which are totally worth the money

La Lune Fort Kochi is situated in the Fort Kochi district of Cochin, and is 200 metres from Kochi Biennale. Wonderful host (Joseph) who has created a really well laid-out, comfortable and airy B and B with a lovely atmosphere. He couldn’t have done more to help us, organising trips and taxis etc. The location is excellent - it is quiet but close to restaurants, cafes, shops, sights, ferries, tuktuks. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Air con, hot water and wifi were all brilliant. Breakfast was very good, offering Western and Indian options. We also liked the lounge and kitchen area on each floor where you can make your own tea/coffee and light meals.

Situated in Kannur and only 400 metres from Thottada Beach, Ivory Coaste features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Host is super nice and attentive. He cooks indian food and you can ask for anything you like. Beautiful beach is a 2 minutes walk, rooms are clean

Ganesh Ayurveda Holiday Home bed and breakfast is set in Kovalam and features a private pool and garden views. It is on the edge of a lake, covered with purple flowers depending on the time of day and water levels. The dichotomy of wealthy (empty) vacation homes and tiny traditional villages is interesting to experience. The villagers are very sweet and children come from the houses to greet passersby. The pool is very clean and a rooftop terrace is a nice place to have breakfast, write, relax and do morning yoga. We had some great Ayurveda massages and the owner had a group dinner prepared for us one night to share with the other guests. Many don’t like the distance to the beach, but we appreciated being out of the hustle and bustle of Lighthouse Beach. NYE we moved to the beach with bus loads of people coming in from the country…we may be regretting our change. Murugan, the host, is an Indian Mr. Roark and will do everything in his power to make your vacation comfortable.
