Situated just 700 metres from Fort Kochi Beach, SeaCoast Inn FortKochi offers accommodation in Fort Kochi with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as full-day security. The location is ideal! I walked from the Inn to all the major tourist sites in Fort Kochi as well as loads of restaurants and cafes. I was traveling as a solo female and felt entirely safe at this property and its surroundings. The host, Shaan, was beyond helpful and available to assist before, during, and after my stay. Wifi was strong enough to stream tv shows. Breakfasts were excellent and prepared with variety daily. Rooms were clean, cool (great a/c!), and bug free.

Located within 400 metres of Alleppey Beach and 2.4 km of Thumpoly Beach, Asthamaya Beach offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Alleppey. This hotel is amazing. The view from the first floor is spectacular. The room itself was very spacious with a large bathroom and a second room that added that bit more space so I had plenty of room to do yoga. Staff are really lovely and want to help in any way they can. Really great place!

Offering a garden and garden view, Snehatheeram Homestay is set in Alleppey, 3.2 km from Alleppey Lighthouse and 4.8 km from Alappuzha Railway Station. Binu and George and their family are the perfect hosts. They were SO KIND and even helped me receive a package at their house that I needed whilst travelling. They also arranged a taxi for us to the airport, and a boat to take us for the morning around the backwaters. The room was very clean and comfortable with great AC. The location was perfect for us - within 10 minutes walk there was the bus station, restaurants, the boat jetty, and temples. We explored the beach one evening and realised that’s where most of the foreign travellers are… made us even more glad about our choice! Wifi worked well for streaming movies, but we didn’t try working remotely. Communication in English was fine too I would 100% stay here again. Great value and overall experience.

The location is splendid and the host family is very helpful and loving. The hostess is a good cook and so no worries on the food part.

Set within 200 metres of Alleppey Beach and 2.6 km of Thumpoly Beach, Neela Waters - Beach Home provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Alleppey. The best breakfast we had during the trip, amazing rooftop view, kind hosts, beautiful room, very clean. Next time we would love to stay longer here. Great wi-fi.

Landy Queen is set in Munnar, 1.9 km from Munnar Tea Museum, 10 km from Mattupetty Dam, as well as 17 km from Anamudi Peak. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a 24-hour front desk.... This was our favourite hotel we stayed in India. The location is excellent, the hotel is modern, and the rooms are very clean. The best part for us was the staff. They helped us book some really fun local tours. When I fell sick, they went into town to buy some supplies for me. They really go above and beyond!!

La Lune Fort Kochi is situated in the Fort Kochi district of Cochin, and is 200 metres from Kochi Biennale. Lovely property which is walking distance to many amazing little side streets. The ferry is close as well. Rooms are nice and clean and I felt very at home. Breakfast every morning was delicious and Joseph and his wife went out of their way to provide us with everything we needed.

Situated in Kannur and only 400 metres from Thottada Beach, Ivory Coaste features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very very enjoyable stay in Kannur with the best host Bipin, who also cooks deliciously!
