Shiv Sai Dormitory exceeded my expectations, as I not only felt safe and comfortable, but the owner was very hospitable. He was polite and helpful and even offered to drop me off to some places locally when I needed to go somewhere. Offers of masala chai was a nice touch from the owner too. The room itself was kept clean at all times, had fans and AC, and the beds were comfortable too, with ample space to store and secure luggage within the bed. Access to use the kitchen was useful, with free filtered drinking water available. To top it off, the location was central, near to the shopping areas as well as the railway station, which made it easy to travel around. I have stayed here a few times now and will do so when visiting in the future and I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Vadodara.
