Brilliant location right in the middle of everything. Soundproof, I couldn't hear the outside at night. Room was very clean and comfortable. Owner is very helpful and responsive. Free breakfast available in cupboards / fridge, as well as use of appliances. Lounge area with sofas and TV, as well as free WiFi. Overall a very positive experience, you get more than you pay for.

When we arrived at Orchard Grove in Bagnalstown we were greeted by Mairéad who welcomed us and showed us to our room. It was a beautiful two bed en suite room with facilities for tea/coffee and a light snack. Mairéad offered to drive us into Kilkenny where we were attending a wedding. Breakfast the following morning was latest 9.30am, (I love my snooze in the morning) but I could totally understand why it was that time because her phone never stopped ringing and she had to prepare for her next guests. Breakfast was a FULL IRISH and was delicious. Great conversation with other guests and the host. I would give this Bed n Breakfast a 100% top rating. Oh and the jam was lovely 😍😍 I would definitely go back there again. Thanks Mairéad and your helper. Up Limerick

L'Avlon House Bed and Breakfast è una base ideale per visitare il sud-est dell'Irlanda e sorge a soli 500 m a nord di Carlow, in una zona tranquilla e a 10 minuti a piedi. Il proprietario è una persona disponibile e accomodante, la struttura è una tipica casa irlandese con due sala lettura comprese di camini. La struttura ha cinque stanze tutte ben tenute e pulizia al massimo. Il proprietario fa questo lavoro con amore e passione. La colazione è ottima ( ed io di solito non faccio colazione) ogni stanza ha il proprio bagno, asciugamani e lenzuola pulite. Possibilità di parcheggiare la macchina gratuita. Insomma se avete voglia di conoscere l' Irlanda e di non essere a Dublino questa struttura fa a caso vostro. Dimenticavo, i prezzi sono ottimi.

Lovely Laois Loft Apartment features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Carlow, 11 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum. Super welcoming hosts. Cosy big bedroom, clean shower and WC. Clean sheets and super crispy towels. There is a mini kitchen and even board games! I love this place. It's so quiet and peaceful. I recommend a long stay if you're working in surrounding areas for some time or looking for a quiet weekend. It's not my first time here. Excellent money value for such a place to stay.

Set in Carlow and only 12 km from Mount Wolseley (Golf), The Wandering Donkey Guest House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Great location just over an hour out of Dublin. This was our last stop on our road trip, the host was lovely and met us when we got there. Room was large and everything we needed. We got to meet the two sweet pups on the farm and the donkeys which was so amazing! Hot water, comfy bed, coffee in the morning! All great!
