We were offered a very cheery welcome by Andy, the manager, who helped us with our luggage up the stairs to our beautiful room. He gave us loads of info about the area, what we could see easily in our short stay. We would book in here again!

Perfect accommodation for a stay in Hebden Bridge. Simone the host was super helpful too and I only wish we'd have been staying longer!

Recently renovated, the room was spacious and one of the nicest accommodations we stayed at in our 3 week tour of England & Scotland. However the price was very affordable, in line with places that were much less spacious and with fewer amenities and lesser quality. The Pickled Pheasant was conveniently located just outside the Peak District, a short drive to the Dales. Easily accessed off a main thoroughfare, but very quiet and peaceful. The room featured a true king size bed, large walk-in shower, window seating, desk seating, an armoire, and (rare for much of the country) washcloths in addition to hand and bath towels. We opened the large windows in the morning and enjoyed the beautiful sound of (nearby but not loud) church bells There is a pub and breakfast dining area on the main level. WE only stayed one night so were not able to take advantage of the walking guide that was provided with specially designed hikes beginning at the lodging. We would definitely choose to stay at the PIckled Pheasant again!

My room and bathroom were beautifully clean! I felt very comfortable there and Vanessa was very nice. Returned to a beautifully made room and bathroom. Breakfast was amazing! Full English and so tasty!!! Thank you for meeting me and allowing me to leave my suitcase early. Much appreciated!!!
