The location is near the centre and easy to reach from the train station by foot, too. The room was very spacious and clean. The highlight was the spacious bathroom with its bathtub! Even there is no staff at the check in, we felt very welcomed by the mails in advance and the self-check-in went smooth! Questions were answered in a short time! The breakfast was generous for continental, from pancake, boiled eggs, crumpets to croissants and cereals. We loved that there was vegan options as oatmilk or fresh fruits too. Also we could store our luggage in the breakfast room after check out, which was convenient. Thanks for a nice stay!

The room was absolutely spotless, lovely roll top bath in a large bathroom, comfortable bed and room really well appointed. Lovely food in the bar also. Right in the centre of town.

Situated just 6.3 km from Victoria Theatre, The New Rushcart Inn & Country Dining features accommodation in Sowerby Bridge with access to a terrace, a bar, as well as a housekeeping service. From start to finish our hosts couldn’t do enough for us. After showing us to our beautiful room and explaining how to get inside should we be late returning from our evening celebration they checked we were having breakfast the following morning and booked a taxi to collect us that evening. We had a lovely chat with them and heard about what they had done since taking over the property a year ago. It felt so comfortable and friendly, having a couple of drinks in the bar with the locals, prior to going out. Breakfast was ample and beautifully cooked. And to cap it all………when we arrived home I realised we had forgotten to empty a couple of drawers. John the owner kindly arranged for the items to be sent on to us . We will definitely be returning. The Malthouse, a property with a bar, is located in Halifax, 11 km from Victoria Theatre, 28 km from Heaton Park, as well as 31 km from Clayton Hall Museum. Lovely inn in the village of Rishworth. The restaurant was very good. We had dinner - good variety on the menu and our meals we enjoyed. Our room inlucded breakfast in the morning - was able to order a full english breakfast if you wished. The room was nicely decorated and beds comfy - especially after a good day of driving. There was a large outdoor eatting area - had the weather been nicer it would have been nice to sit outside. Loved the converted beer cask -- was set up outside for filling up dog watering bowls!! Would return
