Set in South Shields, 800 metres from Sandhaven Beach and 11 km from Stadium of Light, South Shore Guest House offers accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. It is situated 16 km from Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and features luggage storage space. Sage Gateshead is 16 km from the guest house and Theatre Royal is 17 km away. I absolutely loved my stay there. The room was spotless and very cosy. Both my mum and I slept very comfortably and we're both fairly picky when it comes to bed and pillows. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. We had a full english breakfast on both days and it was wonderful as well. But the real gems are the owners. I haven't had much time to chat with Andrew but he was so helpful when we first arrived and Lorraine is an absolute sweetheart. My mum, who doesn't speak English, couldn't stop telling me how wonderful and welcoming Lorraine was and I think she was fairly jealous she couldn't have a chat with her. I would totally recommend this place and I will definitely come back in the future if my travels take me to South Shields again.

At the guest house, all units come with bed linen and towels. Good location for an event we were attending at the Rugby Club. Very secure with coded entrance and key safe box. Spacious room, clean and comfy with towels and linen provided. Good sized en suite shower room. Great to have the option of a shared lounge/kitchen area as well. Plenty of places to eat/drink right on the doorstep.

Complete with a private bathroom, all units at the bed and breakfast are fitted with a flat-screen TV, and certain rooms are equipped with a seating area. At the bed and breakfast, each unit includes bed linen and towels. Welcoming clean and convenient. Friendly staff. Slept very well, really comfortable bed. I hope to stay there again when I visit the area.

Scenic clifftop walks can be enjoyed on the Leas, which is just 1 mile away. have stayed here a few times, always super friendly and warm welcome. Has beautiful rooms with excellent facilities. Great location just a few minutes walk from the seafront.

Set in a residential street, this large Victorian house is only a 2-minute walk to South Shields town centre, parks and beaches. It has nicely decorated bedrooms and free parking.

A full English breakfast is available. Restaurants and pubs can be found a 5-minute walk away and special diets can be catered for on request. On arrival met with a smile, room was lovely and spacious, breakfast was the best I have ever had with lots to choose from.Paul was very friendly would recommend this property if in South Shields

Located on a quiet street, The Metropolitan Guest House is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the lively town centre and metro rail station. Accommodation really well done. Nice sizeable rooms and beds. Clean bathrooms. Great location. Will be back.

A Visit England award-winning full English breakfast, cooked in the open-plan kitchen, is served every morning in the dining room. A choice of cereals is also available and special diets can be catered for on request. From the 18th of September 2023, for the duration of 3 weeks, we will be unable to serve a full breakfast due to having the kitchen refitted, we will be providing continental options instead.

Here at the Forest our bedrooms are decorated in modern, boutique style all individual, and all have modern ensuite facilities featuring luxury Duck Island Toiletries and Egyptian Cotton bath sheets Oh my goodness the breakfast was amazing. It was cooked beautifully to order. Nothing was too much trouble. It was served hot and delicious!
