I really enjoyed my stay at Carolyn and John’s lodge. The welcoming atmosphere was lovely, and the beds and shower were clean. Carolyn prepared a delightful breakfast. I felt like I was visiting distant family. I highly recommend this place for a stay.

Located in Ipswich, Town House Chantry - With Self Check In and Free Parking - Rooms at ipswichdigs is a recently renovated accommodation, 44 km from Hedingham Castle and 49 km from The Apex. It’s a house with rooms with codes for the rooms but just walking into the front door felt warm and welcoming.

Situated in Newmarket and only 22 km from The Apex, 72 Ashley Road features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Room was very modern, clean, warm with nice en suite shower room. Bed very comfortable and TV was nice to watch the rugby World Cup. Nice natural shampoos and body washes. Easy to come and go with front door key. Big modern kitchen with slider doors to garden. Nice breakfast with fruit option. Vanessa the host friendly and helpful.

Offering garden views, The Foxes Den is an accommodation situated in Assington, 18 km from Hedingham Castle and 32 km from Freeport Braintree. A charming property with easy parking and a outdoor siting area. Comes with a generous full breakfast. Close to Constable country for exploring.

Victorian Terrace Old Stoke - With Self Check In and Free Parking - Rooms at ipswichdigs in Ipswich provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. Excellent, easy communication with host, squeaky clean premises, exceptionally well equipped and stocked kitchen and bathroom, tastefully decorated room and comfortable bed. I've missed a lot of things but these are some highlights

Located in Laxfield, in a historic building, 12 km from Framlingham Castle, Kings Head Low House is a bed and breakfast with a garden and bar. Lovely accommodation in village. Co-op near by. Hosts very welcoming and provided fresh mil for coffee. Also did breakfast half an hour early for us, as travelling for work. Lovely evening meal.

The Corner House, a property with a garden, is located in Halesworth, 22 km from Framlingham Castle, 32 km from Eye Castle, as well as 37 km from Dunston Hall. Facility, friendly owner and good location.

The Angel Inn, a property with a garden and a bar, is located in Wangford, 22 km from Bungay Castle, 31 km from Framlingham Castle, as well as 40 km from Caister Castle & Motor Museum. Absolutely everything incredible place to stay! Friendly, got to be the best bed I've stayed in and the food was amazing. Can't rate this place highly enough.

Situated in Yoxford and only 16 km from Framlingham Castle, Copperbeech B&B features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. We enjoyed our super stay at Copperbeech and can't wait to return and have another delightful breakfast. Definitely ten out of ten!
