The welcoming staff on arrival & the friendly locals we were made to feel very welcomed. The rooms are immaculately clean & decorated to a high standard with toiletries in the bathroom. Complimentary of tea, coffee & biscuits. Nice touch having a small fridge & hairdryer in the room.. In the main hallway, a small kitchen for guests to use, microwave, toaster, plates & cutlery, also iron, etc. Well stocked corner shop across the road & Sainsbury's or Morrison's down the road a few minutes drive away.

Very clean room in a cozy old stone building. Even though the building was old, the bathroom was spacious and updated. It was in a cute little town with beautiful surrounding landscapes.

From the moment we arrived to be greeted with home baked flapjacks we knew we were in for a treat. Fantastic stay with lovely hosts and the best breakfast of our entire holiday. Would highly recommend!

Set just 19 km from Capesthorne Hall, The Royal Oak offers accommodation in Biddulph with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a housekeeping service. We stayed at the Royal Oak for 4 nights while visiting family. Steve could not do enough for us, always checking in with us that everything was to our liking and offering advice on things to do in the area. The pub had a cozy, real British pub feel to it. The room was large and very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Would highly recommend it, and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks again Steve 🙂

Situated in Leek, 18 km from Alton Towers and 21 km from Buxton Opera House, Black Lion Inn features a restaurant, mountain views and free WiFi. A very charming place in a lovely village. Very friendly and welcoming staff with a personal approach. All the necessary comforts. There's something very satisfying about staying in an inn... perhaps it's the history the building makes you think of, or the warmth of its busyness, or the pint you can pop down for... Not sure... but we loved the place!

The location is excellent, it's 5 minutes walk to the town center. We stayed here to attend Uttoxeter races, this is within walking distance. The room is very nice, it has a big ensuite and everything you need (home from home). Also as an extra bonus to the room.. the bed is really really comfortable. Peter is a great host.
