The welcoming staff on arrival & the friendly locals we were made to feel very welcomed. The rooms are immaculately clean & decorated to a high standard with toiletries in the bathroom. Complimentary of tea, coffee & biscuits. Nice touch having a small fridge & hairdryer in the room.. In the main hallway, a small kitchen for guests to use, microwave, toaster, plates & cutlery, also iron, etc. Well stocked corner shop across the road & Sainsbury's or Morrison's down the road a few minutes drive away.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, The Bay Tree Bed & Breakfast is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Alton, 4 km from Alton Towers. Our stay at the Bay Tree was nothing short of excellent. Location was perfect for our one day trip to Alton Towers. A short 5 minute drive away. Our host gave us some recommendations for dinner on both our nights, which were a short walk away from the accommodation.

From the moment we arrived to be greeted with home baked flapjacks we knew we were in for a treat. Fantastic stay with lovely hosts and the best breakfast of our entire holiday.
