Natural beauty can be found close by in The Peak District National Park and in the traditional Yorkshire villages and countryside which surrounds Lyndene. Everything. Paul and Sophie are fantastic and we felt very welcomed! They have great tips and they are very helpful. The place is well located, close to pubs, restaurants. It is super clean. I highly recommend it!

Millbrook offers bed and breakfast accommodation on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Sheffield is 25.8 km away. Breakfast was great and it was nice having a chiller cabinet in the room

This family run guest house helped us feel at home when we most needed to feel comfortable. No one likes getting sick while on vacation, but our son managed to catch a very bad bug and needed medical attention. That's when Deborah, the host, helped us. She gave us information about British system, and was flexible about some of the breakfast issues (son wouldn't eat, etc). She's very gracious! As for the property, our room was spacious, with two sitting chairs overlooking the streets below. Our room (a triple) had a fridge ) Because we had to stay in, it turned out to be a great place to relax while my son slept (unlike some cramped rooms). If weather is nasty, I can imagine people wanted to stay in, have tea, and read. Overall, it's great to see that local, family guest houses still exist. And ones like this one, managed by Deborah, are a wonderful place to stay.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Hooton Pagnell Hall is located in Hooton Pagnell 11.5 km from Doncaster in the South Yorkshire Region and 45 km from York. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.... Ella- the lady who works there was absolutely wonderful, really friendly and accommodating. She kindly gave us a bottle of Prosecco for our room as we were there for a romantic break. The room was beautiful, clean and cosy. Breakfast was great, there was a wide range of food to choose from. Overall a wonderful stay. We will be back. Thank you!

Situated in South Yorkshire, the Wortley Cottage Guest House is in the historic village of Wortley. Wortley Cottage Guest House was an enjoyable place to stay. Tony and Su were quite a pleasure to talk with. Breakfast was great. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. All together, we would highly recommend it.

This hotel is set in the stunning Mayfield Valley amid picturesque countryside on the edge of the Peak District. The Norfolk Arms is a recently renovated, historic Grade II-listed coaching inn. Well located with beautiful views. Staff friendly and helpful. Large, very well priced, family room for couple with two small children (a king+ double bed plus two pull out full size trundle beds for children). Plenty of free parking. Alpaca and small animal farm around the corner for children. Nice Ales and Ciders on tap. Family menus.
