No one likes getting sick while on vacation, but our son managed to catch a very bad bug and needed medical attention. That's when Deborah, the host, helped us. She gave us information about British system, and was flexible about some of the breakfast issues (son wouldn't eat, etc). She's very gracious! As for the property, our room was spacious, with two sitting chairs overlooking the streets below. Our room (a triple) had a fridge ) Because we had to stay in, it turned out to be a great place to relax while my son slept (unlike some cramped rooms). If weather is nasty, I can imagine people wanted to stay in, have tea, and read. Overall, it's great to see that local, family guest houses still exist. And ones like this one, managed by Deborah, are a wonderful place to stay.

The place is well located, close to pubs, restaurants. It is super clean. I highly recommend it!

Location --nowhere within walking distance to eat but plenty of places within a short car drive. Location rural but very close to Sheffield. The bed and breakfast is separate to the main house so so seems very private . There are 2 rooms but the host prefers if possible to just have one couple at a time . Host very welcoming

Ella- the lady who works there was absolutely wonderful, really friendly and accommodating. She kindly gave us a bottle of Prosecco for our room as we were there for a romantic break. The room was beautiful, clean and cosy. Breakfast was great, there was a wide range of food to choose from. Overall a wonderful stay. We will be back. Thank you!
