Com jardim, bar e vista da montanha, o The Ancient Briton está situado em Pen-y-cae, a 30 km do Grand Theatre. Stayed here after doing the 4 waterfalls walk. After a good 5 hours of walking we arrived at the Ancient Briton we were greeted by friendly helpful staff and shown to our room. Recently refurbished pub the room was very spacious and very clean and the beds very comfortable. We later went on to have a meal the food was very good all locally sourced meat etc and the deserts hand made. In the morning breakfast was prepared by emma the landlady and again was beyond expectation. Overall I was very impressed and would highly recommend the Ancient Briton

As bikers perfect facilities were also provided for our bikes so an additional bonus for us.We will be returning again in September.

There was plenty of tea and coffee available and the breakfast was great! I would love to stay again one day.
