Set in Pen-y-cae and with Grand Theatre reachable within 30 km, The Ancient Briton offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Stayed here after doing the 4 waterfalls walk. After a good 5 hours of walking we arrived at the Ancient Briton we were greeted by friendly helpful staff and shown to our room. Recently refurbished pub the room was very spacious and very clean and the beds very comfortable. We later went on to have a meal the food was very good all locally sourced meat etc and the deserts hand made. In the morning breakfast was prepared by emma the landlady and again was beyond expectation. Overall I was very impressed and would highly recommend the Ancient Briton

Boasting a bar and views of river, Riverbank Bed and Breakfast is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Llanwrtyd Wells, 33 km from Elan Valley. Beautiful property photos certainly don't do it justice. Fabulous friendly host. Spotlessly clean comfortable room with super breakfast provided. As bikers perfect facilities were also provided for our bikes so an additional bonus for us.We will be returning again in September.

Situated just 43 km from Elan Valley, The Dolfor Inn features accommodation in Newtown with access to a garden, a bar, as well as bicycle parking. Gorgeous setting with sheep bleating faintly in the background - inn was easy to find with GPS. Rooms were cozy and spotlessly clean. We had dinner on site - delicious - wide selection of refreshments.

Cheryl and Andy were so kind, helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. The location of the b&b is great, very peaceful. Our bedroom was lovely and very clean. There was plenty of tea and coffee available and the breakfast was great! I would love to stay again one day.
