Very welcoming and friendly hosts, who couldn't do enough for you. The place was very well fitted out to a high standard. They had thought of everything, including providing a wide range of hot drinks for you to make with the facilities provided, which included a Nespresso machine. The decor, carpets and curtains looked brand new and were lovely. The bathroom was perfect and there were toiletries provided. The breakfast was very generous and delicious, and included plenty of fresh fruit. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen was good.

They were very generous with their time help guide us as to what to visit. Would highly recommend exploring Major Oak in Sherwood forest, the Chatsworth House (can easily spend the entire day exploring), and Hardwick Hall. Do take the tours as the volunteers and the tour guides are absolutely amazing and full of the history and juicy stories about the Dukes that owned/lived there. Had a tasty dinner at the New Chand (indian restaurant).

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left there was a warm inviting atmosphere. The owners and staff were lovely.. The room was well decorated and spotlessly clean. We had all the facilities we required. The bed was comfortable which added to having a good night's sleep. We eat there on both nights as the food was of such good quality and staff were very efficient and friendly.
