Made to feel very welcome but at the same time, there’s no intrusion on privacy.

They had thought of everything, including providing a wide range of hot drinks for you to make with the facilities provided, which included a Nespresso machine. The decor, carpets and curtains looked brand new and were lovely. The bathroom was perfect and there were toiletries provided. The breakfast was very generous and delicious, and included plenty of fresh fruit. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen was good.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Ravenscroft B&B is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Mansfield, 18 km from Sherwood Forest. I absolutely loved how quaint the entire property was. Our room was enormous and fully equipped with more than we could use. Breakfast was lovely and Nik was happy to make us scrambled eggs on request and kept offering us more and more. Honestly had a wonderful time. Loved meeting the doggies too. Our room and bathroom were lovely and clean and fresh towels provided.

Situated 23 km from Lincoln University, The Lord Nelson Inn offers 4-star accommodation in Newark upon Trent and has a garden, a restaurant and a bar. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left there was a warm inviting atmosphere. The owners and staff were lovely.. The room was well decorated and spotlessly clean. We had all the facilities we required. The bed was comfortable which added to having a good night's sleep. We eat there on both nights as the food was of such good quality and staff were very efficient and friendly.

I am vegan and the hostess offered soy milk as an option. It was perfect. Thge room even had a microwave! That is unusual.
