The decor, carpets and curtains looked brand new and were lovely. The bathroom was perfect and there were toiletries provided. The breakfast was very generous and delicious, and included plenty of fresh fruit. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen was good.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Ravenscroft B&B is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Mansfield, 18 km from Sherwood Forest. Nick and Alex were so welcoming and friendly. We had an amazing time. They were very generous with their time help guide us as to what to visit. Would highly recommend exploring Major Oak in Sherwood forest, the Chatsworth House (can easily spend the entire day exploring), and Hardwick Hall. Do take the tours as the volunteers and the tour guides are absolutely amazing and full of the history and juicy stories about the Dukes that owned/lived there. Had a tasty dinner at the New Chand (indian restaurant).

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left there was a warm inviting atmosphere. The owners and staff were lovely.. The room was well decorated and spotlessly clean. We had all the facilities we required. The bed was comfortable which added to having a good night's sleep. We eat there on both nights as the food was of such good quality and staff were very efficient and friendly.

I am vegan and the hostess offered soy milk as an option. It was perfect. Thge room even had a microwave! That is unusual.
