When I first walked in, I immediately noticed a pleasant fragrance. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite, and the room was incredibly clean.

We chose Lauderville Guest House to stay in while we visited Edinburgh earlier this month (June 2024). We highly recommend it. Simon was our fantastic host. Before we arrived, he had contacted us and provided all necessary information. Simon is very open and always ready to help. Our room was very cosy and impeccable - I mean, we were stunned by how clean and tidy the room had been. Homemade breakfasts were delicious. The Lauderville Guest House is in a very good location - only a few stops away from the city centre. We had not trouble getting to the airport, through the city centre, and early in the morning - we used the night public transport service, but everything went smooth. We will surely return to the Lauderville Guest House the next time we are in Edinburgh. Many thanks, Simon. Looking forward to seeing you again. Cheers.

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.
