Boasting a shared lounge, West End Townhouse is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in the centre of Edinburgh, close to EICC. The House is ideally located and is just beautiful. Our room had fabulous views of the city and was luxurious and comfortable. Carole and George were welcoming and friendly, which made the stay even better. It was awesome chatting with Carole in the mornings, getting to know her story and the story of the house a bit better, as well as receiving recommendations on things to do/places to go. The quality of the breakfast was excellent and everything was delicious, including the home made jam!! If I could rate it an 11 I would !! Highly recommended and would love to come back.

Featuring garden views, Roost Hill Guest House - Free Parking offers accommodation with patio, around 2 km from Arthurs Seat. We enjoyed everything about our stay here. The room was really cozy. The host was very responsive and welcoming ❤️ The location is great, there are several buses that will get you to the centre of Edinburgh. Overall the Roost Hill Guest House is a great place to stay when visiting this beautiful city 😊

Located in Ratho and only 12 km from Edinburgh Zoo, Coach House Ratho Park Steading provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The room was incredibly spacious with an extremely comfortable bed, dining room was clean and well laid out. Host was approachable and helpful.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Straven Guesthouse provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi. Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Falcon Crest Guest House is located in Edinburgh, 2.8 km from Royal Yacht Britannia and 2.9 km from Edinburgh Playhouse. Amazing hosts, fabulous breakfast, loved the eco-friendly-ness. Fantastic location, close enough to Edinburgh centre for shopping/entertainment but far enough to be lovely and quiet overnight. Could not rate this guesthouse and it's host highly enough and we are so sad to be leaving so soon.

Lorna was very helpful and lovely to talk to. The room was everything we wanted and more. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was incredible.

Set 1.1 km from Butterfly & Insect World, Glenarch House is in Dalkeith and features a garden and a terrace. The accommodation is 2.1 km from the Dalkeith Country Park. It was more than we ever expected … gorgeous property & accomodation . Very comfortable . A quiet retreat if you want to just relax & reflect . Close to Edinburgh ( 20 minute train ride ) for a day trip from Glenarch House . Would recommend the train to Waverley station in Edinburgh . It’s a self catering property , so will need to work out meals for yourselves . Morrisons ( a supermarket) is relatively close for grocery shopping .
