Very comfortable bed, large shower. The hotel also provided us with a steamer as they knew we were going to attend the wedding. Boasting a terrace and views of garden, The Auld Kirk is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Kirkbean, 19 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club. It felt like staying at a friend's house for the weekend. I got a warm welcome from the caring host and felt comfortable the whole stay. For breakfast, you can choose from well balanced options, but if you want something changed, it is possible anyway. The calm surroundings and the location are very good to relax.

Great location and easy to find John was an exceptional host and great to chat to we could not have asked for more from our stay

Corsewall Arms Guest House is situated in Stranraer and offers a terrace. I stayed at this B&B on my way from Glasgow to Galloway Lighthouse. Late check-in after 11pm was not an issue. Parking was available right next to the entrance. Homemade complimentary shortbread and cold milk made my late arrival less stressful. The facility itself is extremely clean and thoughtfully designed. Breakfast was delicious and filling.
