Everything, very nice lady was very accommodating even had a small decanter of whiskey at the bedside nice touch access to the kitchen and the dining area during the stay and parking was on the street right by the front door

Offering quiet street views, Seamore House is an accommodation set in Moffat, 33 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club and 36 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club. Was not expecting a cooked breakfast as well as the cereals etc. Property was easy to find, parking a breeze and a close to town with lots of restaurants etc. The Farmers Market was on but didn't start until 10.30am - too late when you are travelling

Set in Gretna, the recently renovated Kirkcroft Guest House offers accommodation 42 km from Thirlwall Castle and 17 km from Carlisle Railway Station. There's nothing not to like ☺️. Chris and Tony are lovely and great hosts , full of knowledge from gretna in the war to the best places to visit and eat. The guest house was spotlessly clean , comfortable and Chris's breakfast was fabulous. The train station was an added bonus , it made it easy to enjoy an evening in Carlisle with the family. There's private parking , lovely walks and it's close to our Scottish family, so we'll definitely be staying again . Just like being at home ❤️

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated The Art Bank provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Beautiful house, exceptional clean and comfortable. Amazing breakfast. Everything was just perfect. Definitely staying again.

Very friendly, super clean, fantastic decor, very high standard, bed was lovely and comfy, fab pillows! The hot tub was great, easy to book your slot/s, if like us it was a great start and end to a day. The hubby found the sauna to be an added bonus!! Fantastic seating areas by the river, very soothing to listen to the water rushing by, there is a lovely little summer house outside too, we would love to visit again in the summer. The biggest healthiest chickens in the front garden, don't forget to take them some grapes! Super breakfasts, and the smoothies were delicious, all in all not a bad thing to say about this fantastic little guest house!!

Corsewall Arms Guest House is situated in Stranraer and offers a terrace. We loved everything. We wish we were staying longer than 2 nights. The rooms were perfect, everything was so clean, the beds were comfy and the service from the owner was outstanding! Fresh cookies every day in the rooms, fresh milk served in mini milk canisters. The breakfast was perfect. Absolutely loved every minute of staying there.

Offering a garden and garden view, Groom's Cottage is located in Moffat, 35 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club and 48 km from Traquair House. Brilliant cottage and friendly host. It was extremelly clean (could compete with a very expensive hotel), bed very comfortable and breakfast delivered right to the cottage was delicious. Also found a cheeky piece of chocolate by the bed which made my day after a long trip. Thank you!
