Set in Gretna, the recently renovated Kirkcroft Guest House offers accommodation 42 km from Thirlwall Castle and 17 km from Carlisle Railway Station. Christine and Tony made us feel so welcome, they were very friendly. Delicious home cooked breakfast, comfy beds and spacious room with tea coffee biscuits etc.

Islecroft House Bed & Breakfast features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Isle of Whithorn. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Room was nice, location (if you like nature) as well, service was good.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated The Art Bank provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The Art Bank is a wonderfully homely and welcoming place to stay. It is kept spotlessly clean and there is a wonderful choice of quality food for breakfast, all cooked and prepared to perfection. We felt spoilt in so many ways by Mandy & Ange - and our little dog is already missing them and their adorable dogs. We really hope we can return to this very special b&b which is a real gem. Thank you both of you!

Boasting a terrace and views of garden, The Auld Kirk is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Kirkbean, 19 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club. Great place! Very welcoming host. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very friendly, super clean, fantastic decor, very high standard, bed was lovely and comfy, fab pillows! The hot tub was great, easy to book your slot/s, if like us it was a great start and end to a day. The hubby found the sauna to be an added bonus!! Fantastic seating areas by the river, very soothing to listen to the water rushing by, there is a lovely little summer house outside too, we would love to visit again in the summer. The biggest healthiest chickens in the front garden, don't forget to take them some grapes! Super breakfasts, and the smoothies were delicious, all in all not a bad thing to say about this fantastic little guest house!!

Corsewall Arms Guest House is situated in Stranraer and offers a terrace. We were made to feel welcome and nothing is a problem. They carried our head bags to our room. Coffee and tea is available The beds are clean and comfortable The room is beautifully set up.

Boasting a tennis court, Woodlyn Guest House is situated in Gatehouse of Fleet in the Dumfries and Galloway region, 49 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club. Our room was beautiful, spacious and modern. The guesthouse is in a very quiet location. Our hosts Kevin and Nikki were extremely helpful and friendly and they cook up a great breakfast. We stayed for two nights and, after exploring the surrounding region each day, we enjoyed two lovely dinners at The Murray Arms and The Ship Inn. On both occasions, the food was excellent and the staff were courteous and friendly.

Hamilton House is situated in Dumfries, less than 1 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club, 2.3 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club, and 14 km from Caerlaverock Castle. I was met with a friendly welcome and felt well looked after from start to finish. The breakfast was excellent.
