We liked the unique way the beds were turning from sofas to beds, but we would also love it if they were a little wider. The room was spacious enough, and so was the internal private bathroom. The owners seemed friendly and caring.

It was adorable and well decorated. Most importantly, it was very clean. The hostess was very kind and easy to work with.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Braeside Guest House, Loch Lomond is a guest house set in a historic building in Drymen, 18 km from Mugdock Country Park. Lovely Hotel in a lovely little town! Great dinner right across the street and delicious breakfast around the corner. There is a food store to stock up and a bakery for an extra goodie! It was the perfect first night on our WHW hike!

Set in Stirling, 12 km from Lake of Menteith, Black Bull Gartmore offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. This place was amazing 🤩….. we loved it! The Inn is beautiful and has been renovated very well. Room was spacious light and very cosy. The staff were exceptional, friendly and efficient. The meals were excellent dinner and breakfast. The village is gorgeous and should be very proud of the work that has been done on the inn…. Just a wonderful little gem.

Boasting mountain views, Altquhur Byre provides accommodation with patio, around 19 km from Mugdock Country Park. The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 23 km from Lake of Menteith.... It was everything you want. Very friendly people. The location. Breakfast was so nice.

Located in Balmaha and only 23 km from Mugdock Country Park, Arrochoile provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. Owner was very friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was amazing, with really good vegan options. Room was clean and spacious. Exactly what you need after a day of hiking.

Located in Buchlyvie and only 16 km from Lake of Menteith, Lower Balwill provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Marion and her mother are just awesome. Beautiful people who make your stay memorable. A little gem in a quiet area with views all around to grass fields with sheep's and hills.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Altskeith Country House is set in Aberfoyle, 10 km from Loch Katrine and 15 km from Lake of Menteith. Everything exceeded my expectations

Situated 10 km from Crianlarich, Innishewan Farmhouse features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden. If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings. Really appreciated host's COVID safety measures. I could tell farmhouse would be super cosy if it weren't for all the social distancing required.
