The host - Gilles- was fantastic and made sure I was able to access the building and my room out of hours. He also made great recommendations for places to visit and to dine in the area and we had great conversations over an equally good breakfast spread. While there is no parking on site, the property is one minute walk away from a public parking lot and the area felt very safe. It is also very close to the train station and city centre which are great conveniences in a small town. There are no elevators in the property but there are two lovely studio apartments on the ground floor if accessibility is a concern. I would very likely stay here again as a base for visiting Provence.

Size was large for Europe and had a large bathroom. Would recommend!!!

At the bed and breakfast, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. It was only an overnighter, but the clean, cozy and well-lit room had everything we needed. Coffee maker, capsules, electric kettle, tea bags, bottled water (natural and carbonated). It was also great that we could keep our cheese purchases in the refrigerator upstairs. It was also possible to prepare meals in the kitchen. The location is quiet so a good night's sleep was had by both of us (plus dog!). Note: there is internet and it worked for both our devices. Also, if you are traveling with a lot of luggage, the space may be too small for some.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Château Saint-Pierre de Mejans offers accommodation with pool with a view and free WiFi. The property features garden views and is 27 km from The Ochre Trail and 31 km from Village des Bories. Free private parking is available and the bed and breakfast also provides bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Everything - it was about as picturesque as it gets, and we were only sorry not to be able to stay longer, I would come back to Provence just to stay here!

The location was close to gorgeous vineyards, outdoor shopping, and a city in France voted “the most beautiful in the world.”. The hosts were wonderful and their hospitality is something that you will not experience at other hotels. They had fantastic recommendations for dining and activities. The rooms have balconies with incredible views, reliable wifi and come with breakfast every morning. If we return to the area we will definitely stay at La Chaumiere again.
