Maison d'hôtes Bastide St Victor à 2,5 kilomètres de Lourmarin, hotel in Lourmarin

Located just 1.2 mi from Lourmarin, Bastide St Victor is a guest house nestled among the vineyards. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a garden. You will stay in the Luberon regional park....

This is the most beautiful accommodation where we have ever stayed!! Photos simply don’t do it justice. The bastide is surrounded by vineyards, cherry tree orchards, and olive trees with views of mountains as far as the eye can see. And so many beautiful flowers! It is as quiet and peaceful as you can get (we loved just sitting and listening to the birds during the day and the crickets at night), yet everything needed (groceries, villages, wineries) is just a short car ride away. We stayed in the apartment, and it was more than what we were looking for! We loved the cute decorations and the gorgeous views on both sides of the property. From the bedroom you can see one view and from the kitchen and living room another. You feel completely surrounded by rolling vineyards! The breakfast is outstanding. Our favorite items were the homemade yogurts, handpicked cherries, and the extensive spread of homemade jams (we counted nine!)! We loved sitting outside to enjoy the breakfast each morning. The bastide offers many of its homemade products for sale, including jams, olive oil, and wines. Finally, we are so grateful for the entire family (two generations) who made our stay such a joy. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and offered amazing tips on what to see and do. Thank you for an amazing stay! Here are descriptions of the photos: -The kitchen (which is open concept with the living room). We arrived to a bottle of wine from the vineyard which we enjoyed outside at sunset. -Breakfast outside (though you can have it indoors if you prefer!). Breakfast is a buffet with options for coffee, fresh juices, croissants, pancakes, cheeses, bread, yogurt, jams, hard or soft boiled eggs, granola, meats, and fruits. -The breathtaking view from the living room. -The view of the back of the bastide from the road, a route enjoyed by many bikers. The apartment is on the top level on the far left.

We upgraded to a suite and it was fabulous, there was a mezzanine with twin beds (which we didn't need) and a sofa and TV. The 'main' area downstairs had a big double bed, lovely bath/shower room and best of all a private terrace with sun loungers. We really enjoyed the luxury. The swimming pool area was very pretty and stylish.

The room was absolutely a charm! This is a not a hotel rather cute building with a entry code that leads up to your designated room. There was no contact with anyone as it was self check-in with an entry code. Once we reached our room it was so charming, modern and quaint! Beyond my expectations, very typical provencial style room with all the amenities you need. A bottle of wine and breakfast at a local place was complementary :) The view from our room was overlooking the city center.

The hotel is an integral part of this historic town. Care was taken in the restoration of this building not to loose the character. The town boasts a castle and many little shops and restaurants. The Moulin serves excellent food and the staff is competent and friendly. White linen sheets on a good mattress. Quiet and private. Highly recommended.
