We stayed here at the end of September. A beautifully restored home and very lovingly decorated with everything you need. The bedroom is s great size and the bed is very comfortable, with lovely pillows and bedding. The room has a lot of natural light and is very quiet. The aircon was great and quiet. There was a large TV with netflix available. A wardrobe and bedside tables. Lots of power points. The bathroom is large and has a big shower with a rain and hand held shower. Lots of hot water. Nice fluffy towels. The fixtures and fittings are very good quality and it is all very new. Frederic and Malika are wonderful hosts and made sure that we had a list of restaurants and instructions about walking into the city center, which is not far. We drove to Vichy and were able to park onsite, a real bonus and the parking is secure. The breakfast is superb! Everything was fresh and lots of homemade products, including chocolate brownies, straight from the oven. Freshly made coffee, juice, pastries, bread, toasted brioche, homemade cereal and freshly chopped individual bowls of fruit salad, yogurt, jams and much more. Frederic and Malika obviously love what they are doing and it shows.

Located 3.2 km from Le Puy Cathedral, 2.4 km from Saint-Michel d'Aiguilhe Church and 45 km from Crozatier Museum, La maison des roses offers accommodation situated in Chadrac. The host was very kind, and took the time to converse with us even though we had to use Google translate. The suite was lovely and spacious. Breakfast was good. The location was fabulous, close to the beautiful old part of Puy En Velay, a very cool church high on top of a rock, and a giant Mary and Jesus statue you can climb up into. I would stay here again!

Wonderful and cozy place and wonderful owners 🥰, wonderful food. It was a real pleasure staying in this Chambre d’Hôtes, unfortunately only for one night.
