Very communicative and open to receive us at noon. The beach (El aserradero) is literally 5 mins from Hamidy's and it is a nice place with few to no people during most of the day and there are no waves. The place is clean and comfortable and Hamidy is always there to give you recommendations and help you to get food on delivery from Las Galeras town. He also prepares a breakfast for a fee ($10 pp) which is really delicious and the serving is totally worth it.

Offering a garden and pool view, Solazul is situated in Las Galeras, 300 metres from Las Galeras Beach and 1.2 km from La Playita Beach. The owners were lovely - very helpful and chatty but not over the top. The room was perfect for us - good to have the mosquito nets - the mosquitos were the only negative. Great proximity close to the beach. Had a swimming pool and towels. Breakfast was delicious.

New ownership to the hotel and they just start take reservation. Very kind and wish to help staff. Got an upgrade for the room (on house as a honeymoon goodwill gesture). Got a very good feeling that they where happy we there. We have been sorry to be there only for one night

Situated within 800 metres of Punta Popy Beach and less than 1 km of Las Ballenas Beach in Las Terrenas, Casa Barbara provides accommodation with seating area. Everything was perfect at Casa Barbara. The host couple is so nice, welcoming and gave us with many recommendations. The pool, jacuzzi and garden are amazing. The bungalow is very well equipped. We loved our stay and would come back !!

Mauricio y su mujer nos atendieron estupendamente y nos ayudaron en todo. El lodge es espectacular, situado en medio de la selva pudimos dormir escuchando todo Tipo de animales. 100% recomendado.

Empyrean Tropical Wellness Portillo in Las Terrenas provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar. The staff were so friendly and so accommodating!! Very clean, quiet, secure and it had a comfy bed and great essentials in the room! We got one of the smaller rooms which was a great value, but would recommend a larger one for more space! It was a great last minute find and we would stay again!
