The owner was a fabulous chap from Nijmegen, just across the border. Made you feel at home as soon as you walked in the door. He has an open communal area with couches, fridges full of wine and beer etc. This was a very peaceful location and we loved it!

We visited with our 2 young children and it was a perfect stay. The apartment is directly across the street from the kids ski lesson area, which was so convenient for us. We were also able to rent all of our gear from the ski depot right next door. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had a great view. My kids especially loved the candy they got from the ski depot when bringing their gear back :) . We will be back!

Great location. This is a tired hotel (but rooms were clean) we used it as an overnight stop on a road trip and it worked well for that, it wasn't a disaster for us. Munster was great and there are easy cycle/walking routes into the city centre through the park. Munster is the 'cycling capital' of Germany and the cycle paths worked very well. It was cheap.
Great location, 20 minutes from the city centre by car. Very quiet too. We slept really well, beds are comfortable. Towels and a hair dryer provided. The bathroom was really clean.

Old school hotel, very friendly and helpful owner. Lovely big room (more like a private apartment really), furnishings were quirky and had a certain 1970s charm (I mean that - they are charming and brought back memories of grandmotherly properties of my childhood - but would not suit someone looking for cutting-edge modern design). Breakfast was great - again quaint and old fashioned. They don't make hotels like this any more!
Great location if you want to explore Cologne. Quiet area with public transport to city centre close by. Small, but clean and well equiped appartment. Lots of diner options and supermarkets in the neighbourhood. Be aware: the appartment is on the second floor (U.S. third floor), with no elevator. Tip: Parking options nearby for long stay are very pricey, but if you park at the P+R Hurth Kiebitzweg it's free. Next to the parking lot is a tram that will take you straight to the appartment (stop Barbarossaplatz).
It was an amazing apartment, great location with a few shops nearby and great for a walk in the city centre. Niko was a great host, made sure we were happy with everything before he left and even left a few snacks and drinks. All round a perfect stay.
Beautiful, spacious and very comfortable apartment - everything about it just oozes luxury and quality, from the ipad provided in the room to the separate climate controls for the living room and the bedroom. Excellent breakfast. Great location: easy to reach by car (with parking in the basement), yet within easy walking distance of the city centre.
