I did like the picture from Marilyn Monroe in the bathroom.Especially when you shower she is looking directly at you and smiles all the time.Very interesting idea for a bathroom.

Charming old building in very quiet village center. Room plus bathroom plus small hall plus exclusive use of a large kitchen. Everything which one could possibly need was available. Very quiet during the night. Very kind host who showed much flexibility. Car can be parked easily either on the street or in the back of private court yard.

5min walk to the shops, 20min walk to the old part of the city centre. Big room with all amenities to cook / eat, big terrace. There is no reception at the hotel, it works with a code and a card: very good and fast communication by mail.
The flat is modern, perfect for a couple and really close to the city center and to a shopping mall. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe. All of the amenities listed were there and working flawlessly. The host was super polite, helped us settle in the city and showed us everything we needed to see. Encouraged us to visit Mönchengladbach again! Definitely recommended.
The locations was convenient, close to the city center, there was a private parking for the hotel guests. Hotel and rooms were clean, even though the furnishing was old and out of style, reminded me of private guest-houses in the 1990s-2000s.. Breakfast was all right for this kind of hotel, we had to particularly ask for a tea, no espresso machine, only brewed coffee in thermos on the table. Choice of food was good.

Herr Ritterbach, the very pleasant and professional caretaker. Great location: next to a delicious bakery (serving breakfast as well), in walking distance of bus stops and good selection of restaurants. Good bus connections to the city centre and the sport parks. Well-equipped kitchen and spacious bed rooms. Charming furniture (though very old fashioned).
We were greeted on arrival and welcomed like family and friends and not as paying guests (unlike a hotel reception). The gastgeber was very friendly and helpful and we immediately felt at home.Well situated, close to public transport, "Willi's kiosk" next-door, also very friendly. Room stays cool during hot weather and very quiet being at rear of property away from traffic noise. Toiletries for shower etc inclusive. Very clean and quaint
It is totally what you get for this price. Comfortable beds, and private toilet on great location very close to city centre. The check in and out process is flowless and easy. Very good value for money.
A lovely hotel, friendly staff and everything in our room was spotless. The kitchen was also a great addition (and it was well stocked with crockery, cutlery, pans, toaster kettle, and coffee machine). The fridge was a decent size too. The location was also great - quiet street, walking distance to the city centre etc.
