The place was absolutely lovely, and the host was so kind and caring! Breakfast every morning was delicious, and Alberto assisted us with great recommendations and things to do/see.

They are amazing host and you feel staright away "home away from home".They will go far and beyond for their guests which at the end go home as their friends. Very good location, close to the beautiful beach Playa Negra and downtown. Do not worry if you haven't book any activities in advance, Chiara and Ray will help you with everything. Struttura rustica situata nel villaggio di San Francisco, l’isola di fronte al villaggio del Tortuguero. Camere semplici, pulite, dotate di aria condizionata. La struttura si affaccia direttamente sul canale con un suo molo per attraccare. Nelle immediate vicinanze un piccolo market e un bar ristorante con terrazza sul fiume vista tramonto. Gloria, la proprietaria è super gentile e disponibile e via aiuterà fin da momento della prenotazione a organizzare le vostre esperienze al Tortuguero (luogo straordinario)

Situato a Puerto Viejo, a meno di 1 km dalla spiaggia di Negra, il Black Bamboo B&B offre una piscina all'aperto, un giardino e una cucina in comune. We loved the location because it was quiet at night, only a 10 minute walk into town, and we felt very safe walking even at night. The parking area is enclosed so the car was secure. Nadia was a really wonderful host - very kind, gracious and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The room had its own mini-refrigerator plus we had access to a full outdoor kitchen, well-stocked with cooking supplies. We just loved lounging on our private balcony and at the shaded pool. The best part was that Black Bamboo provided free unlimited filtered water to drink and morning coffee. After traveling through Costa Rica and seeing how expensive things are (including water), we really appreciated being able to fill our water bottles there. Overall, this was a terrific experience and we'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Everything is really cute, Klaus welcomed us warmly and made us the best breakfast! He showed us the cute garden and explained everything. The Tents he made by himself are really cute and comfortable. I can only recommend staying there!

If I could rate this place 100 I would! Andres and his wife are the sweetest and most welcoming people ever! My girlfriend and I were stuck from torrential rainfall on our way back from Puerto Viejo to San Jose and had to stop and find shelter. We were not ready for this gen of a place. It’s an oasis with charm! A stream on the property and animals. Andres and his wife made us tamales fruit and coffee in the morning.
