Great and authentic place to stay if you want to get away from the busy Tortugero village. Gloria and Sergio do everything possible to enable you a relaxing stay and wonderful memories. The rooms are super clean and fine, hammocks are great to relax and the breakfast is very hearty and cooked freshly. You can walk up Cerro Tortugero by yourself within 30 minutes with great views. A restaurant and a market are next door. We did the morning tour through the canals with Sergio, which was amazing! He provided great infos, we saw a lot! In addition he was driving and picking us up to and from the village Tortugero in the afternoon, which was super convenient. Thank you so much!

Situated in Puerto Viejo and only less than 1 km from Negra Beach, Kalawala features accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. The place was great, beautiful, well decorated and very maintained. We had everything we needed and more. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of and all like new! It sure is and by far, the best place we've been in Costa Rica. Tom was wonderful, so helpful and always there to assist. We've been there for only two nights and wish we could spend there a lot more. The bakery beneath the hotel is super delicious and great as well. Thank you very very much for the wonderful stay.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a saltwater pool, mountain view and a balcony, Black Bamboo is situated in Puerto Viejo. The perfect place!! We stayed for 4 nights! Clean and beautiful, the host is very nice, we stayed in room number 1 and it was great to be on 1st floor. There is laundry service included which was very comfortable. The kitchen well equipped and the pool is amazing! Safe parking place inside the house, in a walk distance from the town! Highly recommended!

Set in Guápiles in the Limon region, Centro Ananda has a garden. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The host, Klaus, he is amazing. He will make sure you are having a great experience. He is also a good conversation. The breakfast was great too, plenty of it. The tent is small but comfy. The place itself is also beautiful. Spent two nights, would visit again.

There were so many things we liked about this property, I could write a book. We came to Costa Rica for the wilderness and after visiting La Fortuna and other areas of Costa Rica and seeing no animals we were thrilled when we saw them right on the property.
