Hidden gem in la Fortuna! We got a room with a view of the volcano, it comes with balcony too so perfect for those early mornings where you sit outside with a cup of coffee. The place is spotless and we couldn’t find dust particles anywhere. The bed was super comfy and overall the room was decorated as if you are in a high-end hotel. It also came with FREE and absolutely delicious breakfast!!! The staff were so friendly and lovely. Overall highly recommend!!

It is a little paradise. The prettiest ranch i have seen in my entire life. The family is devoted and welcoming. The horses are necessary to get up in the mountains, and the views are out of this world.
Really amazing experience. I would 100% recommend as a comfortable retreat.

Birds and breakfast has everything a naturalist can dream of: a beautiful and active garden with lots and lots of bird species visits; many reference wildlife books from birds, mammals, reptiles…; great location not only for the stunning view but also for being next to the quiet area of Children's Eternal Forest; spotting scopes and binoculars available for birdwatching and very cozy elegant rooms and 24/7 coffee/tea bar. Big thanks to Fabio and Marcella for being such amazing host!
Excellent value for money. Great location. Close to a supermarket, which was good to utilise the kitchen. Esteban was very friendly, helpful and responsive. He organised a shuttle to Monteverde for us that was cheaper than anywhere else we could find. I even got an invite to go and play Soccer with his local friends.

The property has a wonderful garden! Very peaceful and quiet even though it's very conveniently located close to the city centre. The staff are extremely sweet and welcoming - make you feel like a guest, not a tourist bringing money.
The junior suit was very spacious, with jacuzzi and private terrace. it was tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. Hotel has a sizable pool and 7 hot tabs. Breakfast buffet has good selection, including local and American breakfast options. You do need a car to get to town, but it gives you piece and quiet, with lot's of nature.
Lovely clean, quiet apartment. Nice living area and good facilities. Great location, easy walk to a supermarket, restaurants and the rope swing over the river.
This place was sow relaxed, with a jungle and private river in your backyard. We saw even a sloth in the backyard. We loved it! 45 min walk from the city center La Fortuna, but perfect with an Uber and a supermarket and restaurants in 10 min walk. So you don’t have to be in the busy city centre.
Location is quiet but only few min walk from the city centre and local bus terminal. The place is clean and looks cute with the little lights. At night its very quiet excl the beds. Its super cheap. If you like it, they have a whatsapp group and do a lot of group activities. The staff was helpful when asked.
