Situated in Fortuna, 2.7 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Chongos Place features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Stayed here two nights and it was a perfect relaxing spot. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed in the small kitchen. The bed is comfortable with good quality sheets and blankets. There is a TV with Netflix for the evenings and the wifi works well. AC is cool and shower is hot. The grounds are beautiful and the small pool was refreshing. The weather was cloudy most of the time we stayed but we did get a quick peek of the volcano. It’s RIGHT THERE. What a beautiful view! I spent a lot of time reading on the small terrace and bird watching. It is a bit out of La Fortuna, but we had a rental car and it was nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle.

Mistico Hanging bridges, Arenal 1968 Trails, all lake activities are 100 feet away and a short walk up the road takes you to Shailee’s viewpoint. Another memorable view from there. Food is also excellent! We had the local sea bass one night-it’s 3 huge fish. Pura Vida

Great location next to the Children's Eternal Rainforest for viewing birds. You really get to see numerous species while eating breakfast. Fabio and Marcela were great hosts, and willingly shared their knowledge on the local wildlife. Accommodations and food were top notch.

I loved chilling in the hammock watching the birds and butterflies in the garden. i also enjoyed making breakfast or cacao in the spotless clean common kitchen. All the rooms are brand new. In 5 weeks travelling central america, this was the best place i stayed in - with a lot of Peace and quiet in the room and Garden and all the Restaurants and excitement when you step out. For me, this was a great mix.

Located 250 metres from La Fortuna Park, La Fortuna Suites Lodge features free WiFi access and Each room is private and is equipped with a TV . Hotel is on a quiet street but was close to restaurants and shops. This made walking around easy and had many options for dining. Breakfast options were nice but seeing the different types of birds and animals with breakfast made it more special. Reception was accommodating and informative. They have a board outside the reception area with their recommendations in the area as well as laundry service. I found this extremely helpful since I couldn't remember everything they said at check in.
