Situated in Alajuela City, 31 km from Poas National Park, Alexander b&b features recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a garden. The location was ideal, because it´s only like 5 km away from the airport. The overall attention and service was amazing. The very best, the hospitability from both Patricia and Alexander since the moment you arrive and untill the very best second. I felt at home. Totally recommended from my end.

Lajuela BnB & Hostel is set in Alajuela City, 30 km from Poas National Park, less than 1 km from Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium, as well as 8.2 km from Parque Viva. Laura is perfect. Helped me with everything i needed for my trip even with the taxi problem. The breakfast was perfect. Laura does the best Croissant i've ever seen.

Featuring an open-air bath, garden and views of city, Sunset Inn is located in Fortuna, 5.5 km from Sky Adventures Arenal. Ingrid and Isaias were really friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was the best breakfast and coffee I have had so far in CR. Of course the view was amazing as well and our A-frame had two queen beds, it was much bigger inside than I expected.

Situated 11.6 km from Rio Celeste Waterfall, Jardin entre Montañas offers a garden, and accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. We loved our stay at Jardín entre Montañas. The gardens are stunning, such a variety of flowers, fruits that attract beautiful birds and butterflies. We took the family room which was super spacious and comfy - the beds were comfortable, there was a fan to keep the room cool, the Wifi was efficient, hot showers available, there was a kitchen area with appliances (rice cooker, hot plate, fridge, coffee maker and sink) which allowed us to prepare a meal one evening. The cabins are built by Lisbeth and her husband and are super quality. The breakfast made by Lisbeth was prepared very nicely - a selection of freshly prepared foods which she varied every day (pancakes, eggs, plantains, local cakes, fresh fruit, coffee and tea). She also recommended some really nice places to go and eat and even called up the owner of the restaurant to make sure that they stayed opened for us to have dinner. Before we left, Lisbeth gave us a wonderful tour of her garden which we loved and she gifted us some avocados for our journey. We could not recommend this place highly enough - it is a serene place from which you can easily access Rio Celeste and Tenorio national park. We also found the access to the house very easy even though we arrived in the night- just use Waze and follow the directions to Jardín entre Montañas. The road is not amazing at the end (not uncommon in Costa Rica!) but we managed in a normal car - just go a little slowly!

Situated just 32 km from Poas National Park, Casa del Suizo provides accommodation in Alajuela City with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. clean, personable staff, great stay!

Situated in Pital, Iguanitas Lodge features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. The property has mountain and pool views. We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is a family run business and they are the nicest people. It is not a fancy resort but is comfortable and clean. The pool is a great place to cool off. They have a nice outdoor sitting area and a feeding station where a lot of birds come to feed. They also make good food.

Boasting a patio with garden views, an infinity pool and a garden, Villa Tucan can be found in Fortuna, close to Ecoglide Arenal Park and 3.9 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. This is an ideal holiday base. Spacious, modern with excellent mattersses and linen. The shared kitchen dining area is well appointed and equipped. The grounds are well kept and intelligently laid out to maximise privacy and peace. We did not use the pool/hot tub but it too was clean and well maintained. All in all I feel lucky to have stayed here.

La Terraza Guest House B&B offers accommodation in Grecia. Free private parking is available on site. All rooms are equipped with a TV. Some rooms include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. The grounds and garden were full of flowers, butterflies and birds. So beautiful and peaceful. Charles and staff were attentive and professional.
