Stayed here two nights and it was a perfect relaxing spot. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed in the small kitchen. The bed is comfortable with good quality sheets and blankets. There is a TV with Netflix for the evenings and the wifi works well. AC is cool and shower is hot. The grounds are beautiful and the small pool was refreshing. The weather was cloudy most of the time we stayed but we did get a quick peek of the volcano. It’s RIGHT THERE. What a beautiful view! I spent a lot of time reading on the small terrace and bird watching. It is a bit out of La Fortuna, but we had a rental car and it was nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle.

Our first visit to Arenal was made memorable by staying here! Our balcony opened up to the volcano. And the lake is right there too! ALL Arenal activities are close to this property. Mistico Hanging bridges, Arenal 1968 Trails, all lake activities are 100 feet away and a short walk up the road takes you to Shailee’s viewpoint. Another memorable view from there. Food is also excellent! We had the local sea bass one night-it’s 3 huge fish. Pura Vida

If you are transiting from and to the airport this is the place to stay!

There is something very special about this place. There is so much love here. You see very quickly after arrival how much the family loves their cabins, their garden, each other, and their guests. Immediately after arrival, they welcomed me into their family. They taught me about farming, plants in the garden, how cocoa and sugar water are made. We sang Spanish songs into the evening. They were incredibly patient with my very limited Spanish vocabulary, and we always managed to find a way to understand each other. This is my ninth stop on my Costa Rica journey. Every location has used the term Pura Vide. It wasn't until this stay that I really started to understand what the feeling of "Pura Vide" was. It abounds here. Thank you for a beautiful stay. You have been an incredible gift on my Costa Rica visit.

We did a night walk with him, he arranged a boat tour, etc... I recommend the place.

If youre looking for a beautiful, quiet, small hotel with and individual and thoughtful service, this is the place for you. I loved chilling in the hammock watching the birds and butterflies in the garden. i also enjoyed making breakfast or cacao in the spotless clean common kitchen. All the rooms are brand new. In 5 weeks travelling central america, this was the best place i stayed in - with a lot of Peace and quiet in the room and Garden and all the Restaurants and excitement when you step out. For me, this was a great mix.
