If you are looking for a place that feels like home search no more. As backpackers, this is our favourite place in Colombia and it is Palomino's hidden gem. It's the kind of place that makes you keep extending - we booked three nights and stayed for two weeks. During our stay in Jaba Jan, we found everything we were looking for. It is 3km to Palomino so the town is always accessible but at the same time you can stay away from the crowds. Not only the place is incredibly beautiful and it is located in a privileged spot, but our stay was absolutely amazing thanks to the people there. The owners, Dean and Jen, are two sweethearts. From day one, they always helped us on everything we needed and made sure that our stay was comfy and truly unique. The common spaces are always filled with a great vibe and people gather up for dinner/lunch in a very familiar way. Also, Dean and Jen prepared very sweet get togethers, like canelazo or sangria nights. The activities offered by the hostel are great. The kayak tour around the mangrove is very special and Dean explains the area in a very detailed way. The environment around the hostel is very nice and wild: the river, the mangrove and the almost private beach next to it are great spaces to chill and have a good time. About the facilities, the rooms are always very clean, they have a sports space that is quite big and equipped, the open showers are super beautiful and the kitchen and common areas have everything you need to for cooking, relaxing and enjoying yourself. The price is very fair for what you get and the food (bkf, lunch and dinner) is delicious. The staff are super friendly and helpful! Couldn't recommend this place more :)

מקום האירוח Hostal La Finquita ממוקם בפאלומינו, במרחק של 600 מ' מחוף פלומינו, וכולל בריכת שחייה חיצונית, חניה פרטית בחינם, גינה וטרסה. צוות המקום יכול לארגן הסעה מ/אל שדה התעופה. *QUIET: Just off the main road but peaceful and quiet. *MOUNTAIN VIEW: You can see snow-caped Sierra Nevada at sunrise *OWNERS - Miguel and his family (Sandy, Norelis) were incredibly kind and helpful. You immediately feel welcome. they are from Palomino and Miguel has a lot of knowledge about anything you wanna know - he’s always up for a good conversation *TRANQUILITY: The entire place transmits so much peace and tranquility form the noisy town *CABANA with floating bed right next to pool was spacious and had enough storage space (large shelf, table with two chairs on patio) *FLOATING BED was comfortable and not moving much and it had a mosquito net (I traveled by myself) *Waking up to the sound of birds was heaven *Pool was cleaned daily, contained Kids area and was illuminated at night * The entire area was huge with mango and plum trees * BREAKFAST was traditional and delicious (eggs, arepa with cheese, huge fruit plate, hot drink and juice) * LAUNDRY on site is very convenient * GUEST SERVICE: Very attentive for guests - I had a personal request related to the food and they made an exception for me

מקום האירוח Jui Chi MaMa כולל גינה, ושוכן בפאלומינו שבאזור La Guajira, במרחק של 2.4 ק''מ מחוף פלומינו. לרשותכם מטבח משותף ודלפק תיירות, וגם אינטרנט אלחוטי בחינם בכל רחבי מקום האירוח. המקום ממש נעים יש גינה ומקומות לשבת בחוץ יש מטבח שלא מאובזר טוב חסר קערות וסירים . החדר היה נעים סך הכל היה לנו גם ערסל בחדר והמיטה הייתה ממש גדולה עם רשת יתושים טובה אבל המיטה לא הייתה נוחה כי היה ברזל מהמזרון שיצא החוצה וזה ממש מציק בשינה. סך הכל בתמורה לתשלום זה היה טוב.

This is the cutest and nicest hostel in Colombia, the family who runs it, does it with a lot of heart. We felt very welcomed and really recommend this place!

Everything was great, the place, the facilities, the location, breakfast. Jaime, the owner, helped us to book the tours and changed our room for a more spacious one. I will be back for sure!
