The host, Kai, was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was very spacious for two people, and it was nice to have the little kitchen! The washroom was shared with only one other room, which made it feel like a semi-private washroom. All facilities were super clean! Great location, and it was very helpful that the booking came with a Basel pass, including free transit and half-off at many museums! Would highly recommend staying here :)

Enjoying a quiet location in the village of Bettingen, B&B Sigrid Braun-Budde is just 5 km outside of Basel. Sigrid was the star. Nothing was too much trouble. She was the perfect host. Her house was welcoming and homely in a lovely location and the local restaurant bar was very nice.

The owners also provided us with bus passes for the entire time we were there. An extra bonus we did not expect.

The breakfast is served downstairs in the shadow of a ticking clock that has more character than a Victor Hugo novel. The bread is homemade and deliciously unique.

Perfect location, studio has a kitchen with all basic things necessary and a big bathroom. The restaurant has good meals and the staff are super kind.
