Overall, a great experience. I was met by Kai, who took me to my room, and explained everything, including with a lever-arch file of notes. He checked that I had everything I needed, and then left. I didn't need to contact him, but I had all his contact details in case I did. It's a large enough room with beds, a table and a well-enough equipped kitchen, and a fan in case it gets a bit hot. There is enough hanging space in the cupboard. The bathroom is shared with another room (I knew that at the time of booking), and that might not suit everybody, but it was perfectly fine with me. The location is great: about 2-3 blocks from a tram intersection for the Number 1 tram that goes to the main station and to the Messe Convention centre. Other trams are also there, but I did not use them. There are also two largish grocery stores in the vicinity of the tram station.

The house was cozy and my room was charming, making for a comfortable experience. The place was squeaky clean, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful. They provided excellent suggestions for local dining and things to see. The B&B's location in a pleasant neighborhood is great. There's convenient public transportation very close, so getting to the city center is quick and easy. I wholeheartedly recommend B&B Laupenring for a wonderful stay in Basel.

Located in Bettingen, within 6.1 km of Badischer Bahnhof and 7.1 km of Messe Basel, B&B Sigrid Braun-Budde provides accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Our host was very kind and helpful. The location is wonderful as cows graze in a pasture behind the property and there is easy transit access to the centre of Basel. Cozy room and absolutely fabulous breakfast!

If I only had one word to describe Chez Jean and Daisy, it would be: Magical. This bed and breakfast in a sleepy hamlet outside of Basel near the German border is nothing short of a treasure. Everything in the house is steeped in history, charm, and beauty. Immediately upon walking in the gate to the property, you are greeted with an elegant garden. At the door, the wise and wonderful Jean embraces you with a larger-than-life personality. Daisy, with her warmth and loveliness, becomes no stranger too. The breakfast is served downstairs in the shadow of a ticking clock that has more character than a Victor Hugo novel. The bread is homemade and deliciously unique.

The location was super convenient and had a tram stop right in front of the residence. The rooms were super clean and comfortable as well.
