The view was memorizing, the tide differential in fathoms is 5.3 meters. Constantly something different to look at. You can hear the freighters/tankers before you see them. Real was very helpful in identifying places to eat. When I woke up in the morning to dining in a room surrounded by exquisite folk art along w/exceptional Canadian painters work I thought I was in a dream. Sebastian is a true professional hotelier. No detail is overlooked.

Daniel is an entertaining host, and his breakfast preparations were very good. The inn is full of history with many antiques. This is the perfect location from which to explore the entire island, as well as venturing into Quebec City. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Au Vieux Foyer.

Auberge au Poste de Traite features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Sainte-Famille. Stephanie texted us before we checked in and asked us about our dinner and breakfast preferences. Breakfast was prepared in advanced and placed in our room. It was high quality and delicious. Room was clean and well decorated! Everything worked just fine. Highly recommend.

This friendly little hotel on the island of Orleans along the Saint Lawrence. River is a 20-minute drive from downtown Quebec City. It has 15 beautiful air-conditioned rooms with river views. We love both the facilities and the location. We always come back at the same time each year - during the “off season” - so it is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The hotel staff are always wonderful and helpful - not only about the hotel itself, but about other things in the local area itself.

Gîte au Toit Bleu has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Sainte-Famille, 30 km from Vieux Quebec Old Quebec. Lovely older home, styled in an eclectic and interesting manner. Beautiful grounds with nice gardens, large shade trees, wild birds, an apple orchard, and a lovely front porch to sit on in the evening. The owner is an absolute delight. She is friendly, inviting, artistic and shared with us some of her incredible experiences as a young artist in Quebec City. Breakfast featured farm fresh quail eggs among other treats. Wonderful place.
