Unbelivable 4 course breakfast, the host said brunch which I never had before anywhere. They might be dishes at a Mishelain star restaurant, and take1 and half hours to finish. The room is large and very clean. I like the take-off shoes system in the house.

Great location for spending a night on the island, easy to find. The in-room air conditioner was a life saver because it was an abnormally hot and humid couple of days and there was no relief even at night. The check-in was painless and breakfast was quickly served when we arrived downstairs in the morning to talk to the host.

At the bed and breakfast, the units come with bed linen and towels. Daniel is an entertaining host, and his breakfast preparations were very good. The inn is full of history with many antiques. This is the perfect location from which to explore the entire island, as well as venturing into Quebec City. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Au Vieux Foyer.

Breakfast was prepared in advanced and placed in our room. It was high quality and delicious. Room was clean and well decorated! Everything worked just fine. Highly recommend.

It has 15 beautiful air-conditioned rooms with river views. Moreover, both apartments-condos fully equipped kitchen and bathroom are ideal for the family. We love both the facilities and the location. We always come back at the same time each year - during the “off season” - so it is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The hotel staff are always wonderful and helpful - not only about the hotel itself, but about other things in the local area itself.
