Guests will find port wine and free chocolates in their room on arrival. We stayed at Thomson suite. When we opened the door, our jaws dropped. It was ten times more beautiful and quirky than we could ever imagine. It had a very artistic touch on everything and every corner, showing the very long history of the place as a foundry. Gorgeous brick walls exposed inside with outstanding skylight, windows, bar, pool, kitchen, woodburner fireplace and ... I was thinking of living there forever. Greg, the host, came to say hi, what a lovely man he is. He generously filled up the fridge for us, more than we could ever eat.

Great location. Loved the outdoor bath. Bottle of wine on arrival was a lovely touch. Cabin was warm and dry and felt nice and private. It was lovely to have a hot bath under the stars with the fire pit going Nice toiletries and very well appointed with everything you could need.
Suites were beautifully appointed, lovely and clean and a great location. Super quiet.
Great location to explore the Barossa. Very private and peaceful but still close to restaurants and wineries. Cabin was well-equipped and comfortable. Host Jess was very responsive when assisting with a water outage due to an external issue.
Great location, blissfully quiet with lots of treats and amenities thoughtfully placed to make our stay comfortable.
Great location, quite and relaxing and Peter was great Host.
The rooms were quite nice, with everything we would need for the stay already in the room (toiletries, bedding, crockery etc). The location is right in the middle of all the wineries without being too close to the city centre. It was really quiet. The pool was incredibly refreshing given we visited during a weekend of 40°+ weather.
Quiet and private. Comfortable bed.
Peter and the golden retrievers were great hosts. We spent the evening chatting over his exceptional pizza and wine. The homestead is very clean, quiet and has all the amenities. The fridge was stocked with bacon, eggs, bread and all the extras needed for breakfast. It's a great location to base a weekend in the Adelaide Hills or Barossa Valley for an adventure. You will not be disappointed!
Charming, historic cottage in quiet garden setting close to town centre. Cosy with well stocked kitchen, breakfast supplied.
