Unbelievable location as far as getting to the beach. The town of Seixal was charming. And there was plenty of places for us to park our car. Love the view from our room. Had an unbelievable view of the sunset.

Great place slightly away from the Calheta marina/beach chaos, to relax and enjoy the sunshine by the pool. Very quiet. Great restaurant as well that serves a very delicious breakfast.

Casa de Proteas is a lovely place to stay. Theresa was such a brilliant hostess, she made it feel like home.Breakfast was just right to set you up for the day. The view out over the ocean and the breakers rolling in was excellent, especially from my small balcony on the 3rd floor. The room was quite adequate and very quiet. The hotel serves an excellent breakfast in an attractive dining room, that also has a balcony with tables overlooking the pools and the ocean. The location is superb.

We really liked the hotel. It was pretty close to the city centre (probably because the city is really small) and was really cheap for what it offered. We really just expected a bed and a bathroom for the price but even had a balcony and everything else we needed.
Such a great location, breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea! It provided us with all the amenities and we were treated to some fresh fruit, eggs, and Madeira wine!
