Everybody was extremely friendly and welcoming and the authentic food was home-cooked and really good.

The family that run the place are so lovely, they really made our stay! Beautiful spacious room with AC, great breakfast, and a stunning garden with monkeys! We booked a safari through them and it was absolutely incredible. The guide has an incredible eye for wildlife and we saw loads! Highly recommend for a place in Kataragama.

This hotel is perfect for staying to make Safari in Yala. The room is very clean, the owner is very caring, helpful and kind. He arranged private safari tour for us for reasonable price and we saw leopard. He also arranged few transfers for us. Breakfast was also very good. The most welcoming house owner that I've met ever! I was given with wonderful excursion around Tissamaharama and its nature and culture landmarks. House holder also booked the Yala safari tour for a greate price.

Nice exterior facilities. The pool is very nice, also to hang out by. Food is served outside on a big nice terrace. Staff is very friendly and organises everything for you (safari, transport etc.). For two nights, to do the full day safari it is a good stay.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
I recently stayed at this charming 3-room boutique hotel and had a delightful experience. The manager was exceptionally pleasant, friendly, and helpful, consistently checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Although the other staff had limited English fluency, they were nice and attentive.

Boutique safari style hotel, reminiscent of an expensive African lodge. Quiet location on the edge of rice paddies with only 8 guest rooms. Fantastic pool and bar area. Large rooms and bed. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, they were all very eager to please.
A stunning property with only a few guests.
Staff was great, organised us a safari to Yala with a great driver/guide who was very knowledgeable of the animals and impressed us with his ability to spot the animals in the park. They also organised us a great private car driver Nalin who we did further travelling with to Ella, Dialyma waterfalls and back to Ahangama. Room was big and clean with a good A/C and fairly quiet too.
Small boutique hotel overlooking Rice fields - very quiet. Our room was large, modern and very comfortable - with a verandah overlooking the rice paddock. The hotel is a bit out of the way ( common to this area) and very quiet.
All dining is in the open air - breakfast served in the main building and dinner around the pool area. Very casual and well done.

All of the staff made our trip special with special thanks to bar manager/ waiter Deshan, breakfast manager, Shamin and front office manager who went above and beyond to courier something to me. All of these things stand out and made the stay extra special.
Luxury and comfortable lodge in a quiet environment. Staff was friendly and food was delicious! Rooms were spacious and very clean. Well maintained new lodge. Bbq night under the stars is a must try.
They arrange Safari to yala at a reasonable price. Worth for money.
