There are 3 separate rooms/villas that all face the beach. The villas are 2 stories with a full living area, large bedroom and 2 full bathrooms. Very large and well furnished.
Leonard, the caretaker and manager was super! Very accommodating and friendly. Interesting to talk to and was available for anything we needed.
The food (half board. Breakfast and dinner included) was really good. Always different. Loved all of our meals.
The beach is just steps away and it’s a lovely spot. Just a great experience overall.

The room was good, ac also working and the shower functional.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull and the area itself is beautifull. A quiet beach is on walking distance and you can watch the sun sink in the ocean from an extra terrace. Breakfast and dinner were nice as well.
And as bonus, on arrival we got a tour of the surrounding area, beaches, even a little climbing tour over the rocks! Ask for neighbour Ravi ;) he will tell you everything about different fish, lobsters, oysters en the local life in that area!

The stuff was very friendly and helpful. They would go above and beyond to make guests happy. Mendis and Jaynta cooked great food and gave us tuk-tuk rides. They both are amazing.

Our stay at Happy Man Village was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in Sri Lanka. The dinner, breakfast, hospitality and environment were fantastic. The garden of the hotel is well-maintained and particularly beautiful at night. Furthermore, the rooms are really clean and the outside shower is a big plus! We truly recommend this hotel!

Fabulous beach hotel. The staff were attentive and always happy to cater to our needs. The room was clean, comfortable and perfect view. The food was delicious and flavourful. The grounds are neatly kept. During our stay, there were many other couples enjoying their stay, in a comfortable quiet and relaxing atmosphere. No kids to be seen which made it even more wonderful to unwind. We will be back.
Kumu Beach is a cosy boutique hotel, which is mell managed by exceptional staff. The food was excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel premises are well maintained, with a lovely garden and excellent swimming pool.
The most beautiful location, quiet, almost private beach, amazing design, comfortable rooms, nice food and of course, exceptional service, tailored and we really felt cared for. We traveled with our 2 year old that enjoyed the pool and the beach. I also was able to enjoy an amazing full body massage in the beach in the morning.
The hosts were very accommodating and got anything that we requested. The view of the lake was beautiful and the environment was very peaceful. These days in Sri Lanka it is hard to find a vacation spot that is not crowded but this place was perfectly quiet. Also the room was amazing! The pool was beautifully kept and maintained.

This hotel is situated in a secluded area. There are no more hotels around and it's just a few minutes walk to the beach. The beach near this hotel is very beautiful and there's nobody there so you can feel like on an uninhabited island. The hotel and it's area is very pretty and clean. Everything is clean and comfortable. The staff is also very helpful. This hotel is for you if you just want to spend a night away from everyone and in the quiet.
